About AndinoTrek

Franck left his medicine studies for the love of the mountains. He worked many years as a mountain guide and tour operator for national and international agencies. Later he opened his own hostel and adventure travel agency in Huaraz. Using his years of experience, contacts and local knowledge he founded the new travel adventure agency AndinoTrek. Franck is a world-traveler with a passion for trekking, climbing and adventure sports.

Cecilia was born in 1986 in Mar del Plata, Argentina. As her grandparents had Swiss roots she moved to Switzerland in her early childhood. After studying business administration and working many years in different companies she started a trip all around South America. Then she fell in love with the Andes and decided to stay. After working several years as co-manager in a hostel in Huaraz, she founded AndinoTrek together with her husband. Like our customers, Cecilia enjoys travelling, hiking and other outdoor activities.

Born in Huaraz, Peru in 2015, she is our youngest team member 🙂

Mari supports our team in all administrative work in the office in Huaraz. She enjoys spending her free time with her family or at a karaoke bar.

Our intern supports us especially in the logistics of trekking tours.

Growing up in Switzerland, she loves mountains, hiking and skiing. The wanderlust is also in her blood and thus she has already actively traveled many corners of the earth.

Felix was born and raised in Huaraz, Peru. After studying tourism and having several years experience as a tour guide, he emigrated to the USA, where he now looks after our customers on site.

With many years of travel experience, Christine appreciates the way she works with clients from all over the world. She supports us locally as well as as a tour guide for groups from the USA.

Cesar was born in 1982 and studied at the School of Guides Don Bosco of the organization Mato Grosso. Cesar is a very experienced mountain guide, he has already climbed mountains throughout South America and the Himalayas.

Born and raised in Huaraz, he has been on the Cordillera Blanca and Huayhuash for many years. He studied at the Casa de Guias and now works for international agencies. Like all our mountain guides, he regularly visits rescue courses to expand his knowledge and also participate in the rescue of mountain accidents.

Johny was born in 1985 in Llupa, Peru. He studied at the Casa de Guias Huaraz and is official mountain guide. When not climbing the mountains of the Cordillera Blanca, he spends his free time with the family.

Growing up surrounded by the Andes, Jack later studied at the Casa de Guia and is currently a mountain guide aspirant in the last year.

Kelwin was born in 1992 in Huaraz, Peru. He is guide for day activities such as climbing, canopy, canyoning, ice climbing and day hikes in the Cordillera Blanca. If he's not on the road with customers, we'll find him on the climbing walls in Los Olivos or in the bars of Huaraz.

Viviana studied tourism in Lima and has been working as a guide in Huaraz for many years. She speaks Spanish and fluently English. She also likes to spend her free time in the mountains hiking and mountaineering.

Jose Luis is an avid instructor in our Canopy Park in Huaraz. Incidentally, he is a passionate climber and musician.
