Itinerary

Day 1:Huaraz - Laguna 69 - Huaraz

The adventure begins very early with pickup from your hotel in Huaraz at 5:00 a.m. to head towards the picturesque Callejón de Huaylas. After a stop for breakfast (not included) along the way, we continue towards the impressive Llanganuco Valley, where we will make a brief stop to admire the beautiful lagoons Chinancocha and Orconcocha. We arrive at Cebollapampa (3,900 m), the starting point of the hike, and begin the ascent of approximately 3 hours to Laguna 69 (4,604 m), enjoying spectacular landscapes with waterfalls, ravines, and views of snow-capped peaks such as Chacraraju and Huascarán. Once at the lagoon, you will have time to admire its incredible turquoise color, take photographs, and enjoy your own lunch. We begin the 2-hour descent back to Cebollapampa, where our transport awaits us for the return to Huaraz, arriving approximately at 6:30 p.m.

You also need enough water (1.5 to 2 liters), your picnic lunch, energy snacks, and a camera. Optional - trekking poles and portable oxygen if you are sensitive to altitude.
