Laguna Keushu (Full Dau)
Laguna Keushu
Keushu Lagoon is a hidden gem in the heart of the Llanganuco Valley, strategically located near the entrance to Huascarán National Park, next to the picturesque village of Humacchuco. Unlike the crowded lagoons in the area, Keushu offers a more intimate and peaceful experience, surrounded by a landscape that combines the majesty of the Cordillera Blanca with the serenity of the high Andean countryside. This crystal-clear lagoon is not only a destination for hikers but also a prime spot for water sports such as stand-up paddleboarding, making it a unique location in the region. The contrast between the deep blue of its waters, the green of the high-altitude meadows, and the imposing mountains that watch over it creates a perfect setting for photography and nature lovers.
