The third day we hike to the well-known beautiful turquoise colored Laguna 69 which is located just below the high mountain peaks of both Pisco and Chacraraju mountains.

Character
The Cordillera Blanca is the largest mountain range of Peru with 31 peaks over 6,000 meter high. More than half of the Peruvian highest 6,000m peaks are here, including the highest mountain (Huascaran) and the most beautiful mountain (Alpamayo) of Peru. The Llanganuco to Pisco BC to Laguna 69 trek starts from the famous Llanganuco valley and is one of the most popular treks from Huaraz.
Requirements
You are healthy and have a good condition. The trail is not too difficult but has some steep sections.
Best Season
The best trekking season in the Andes is from April to October, with rainy season in between. It is usually sunny and warm during this time. Due to the altitude, the nights can be quite cold (to minus 5 ° C).

Camping
You spend one night in two or three person tents and one night in the Refugio (mountain hut). On request you can also sleep in a tent the second night.
Meals
During the trek we pay attention to a healthy and high-calorie diet. For lunch, a box lunch is served. We can prepare vegetarian dishes on request.
Transport
We use minivans or comfortable 4×4 off-road vehicles, depending on the group size.
Equipment
It is not possible to hire donkeys for the trek. You have to carry your personal equipment and lunch box. The guide and porters carry only the group equipment. It is possible to hire extra porters on request.
